Party and Recording

We recently celebrated Ray’s birthday with a gig at the local club and it was a great jam. The first in a loong time. With covid disruptions we haven’t played for ages. Waitangi Day was more a rehearsal because our gig was canceled and we wanted to do something. Ray’s party, although it was a private function is the closest we’ve come to gigging in a year.

That needs to change!

His whanau put a band together for the night too. Soo much talent! Needless to say it was an awesome time.

And while Tanira was here we took advantage of the new sound booth at Wai Ata Studios and recorded a new single! ‘Pride’ is, at the moment, an acoustic track, with Tanira’s unique, soulful style and we cant wait to add those subtle touches to fill it out. Not sure when we’ll release it. When it is ready, and we cant wait!

Mauriora!
